I did it, I’ve gained a certificate after finishing the course “Complete A.I. & Machine Learning, Data Science Bootcamp” from https://zerotomastery.io.
Finishing a course and getting a certificate is not enough, that’s why I made a few steps:
- Started my blog https://machinelearningmaverick.com to put there some stuff that I’ve learned.
- Created my own programming project (web app) in Python (a new language for me) https://github.com/jackverone/basket-compare-playground – work in progress.
- The next step is my own project that utilizes a machine learning project, keep fingers crossed!
I believe that all these steps will make my shift toward machine learning possible
Have a vision, then learn, start a blog, get a certificate, and make your own project – they will find you – my path to success.
My path to success:
- Have a vision
- Know what you want to do in upcoming years
- Learn
- Never stop learning, stay curious
- Start a blog
- Write what you’ve learned, memorize it
- Get a certificate
- Confirm course completion
- Use a GitHub
- Show that you can collaborate on IT projects
- Make a project
- Use your acquired knowledge in a practical way
The “Complete A.I. & Machine Learning, Data Science Bootcamp” course length is 44 hours, it took me 7 months, and 74 hours (measured using the Pomodoro technique).
Final remarks, the Feynman Technique โ mentioned in How did my journey with AI & ML start? โ works very well. Before I started learning about machine learning I had a blurry vision about the things I have to learn. But working with my path to success and the Feynman Technique everything started to make a whole piece.
NOTE: Iโm just barely scratching the surface. Iโm still at the beginning of my learning process of AI & ML!
