From my earliest school days, I had this feeling that something was wrong with the science that was presented to us. Now I know that there are alternative approaches to science. I wasn’t skipping the science classes – math, physics, chemistry – because I was lazy. I kept asking myself questions. Do we really need to learn all this boring stuff. Why we don’t experiment in school at all? Is there only one way to describe this things?
The most important in my case was that I didn’t even want to learn the science, because I didn’t feel it’s valid, important. Somehow I knew it will limit my view, now I know it was a blessing not a curse. My mind is “empty” from biased beliefs and rigid views on the world around. When it comes to computer science I was eager to learn it no matter what. I know that now it’s my time for other fields of science – math, physics, chemistry. I will explore it on my own way!
